This week we have our formation meeting after our @10 gathering which is open to anyone. As you prepare it we thought it would be helpful for you to consider some of the following topics that will be discussed. Think & pray about them as you prepare for the meeting. Be prepared to share your vision as we work through the foundation of Petone.
Mission - Our mission is the mission of The Salvation Army: We aim to care for people and transform lives through God in Christ by the Holy Spirits power. We work for the reform of society by alleviating poverty, deprivation and disadvantage, and by challenging evil, injustice and oppression, in the name of Jesus.
Vision - What is your vision for Petone? 3 or 5 years from now what do you see here at Petone?
Values - What do you believe the core values of Petone should be? These will be the values that permeate everything we do.
Foundations - What are the foundational pillars that Petone should be built on? These are helpful for keeping us on track in seeing our vision realised.
Leadership - What are the key components that leadership at Petone will adhere to?
